Hanson Select Board Unanimously Hires New Executive Administrative Assistant

HANSON — July 29, 2025 — Hanson Select Board hires new executive administrative assistant in unanimous vote. The board voted 4-0 Tuesday to bring on Amy Walcott, who had previously interviewed for the position during an earlier recruitment round, after executive assistant Colleen Lee resigned to take a job closer to her home. Town Administrator Lisa Green told the board Walcott brings prior municipal experience from a water precinct in New Hampshire, performing duties similar to those required in Hanson. Walcott, now living in Marshfield, told the board she spotted the reposted MMA listing and "jumped right on it." Her onboarding is set for August 4, with full duties beginning the same week.
