Hanson Planning Board Approves ANR Plan for 610 Main Street Land Transfer

HANSON — September 30, 2025 — Hanson Planning Board endorses ANR plan resolving encroachments at 610 Main Street in an eight-minute special session. The board voted 4-0 Tuesday evening to approve an Approval Not Required plan for Assessor's Map 41, Lot 2A-1B, submitted by applicant Steven Kron III with a plan prepared by Kelly Engineering Group. Land surveyor Steve Horsefall explained that owner Steven Kron III and neighbor Mr. Gardner had privately agreed to transfer a 25-foot-wide strip — designated Parcel A — from the Kron parcel to resolve longstanding encroachments including a shed that crossed the property line. The town planner confirmed the ANR checklist was fully satisfied, and the board signed the plan before adjourning at 6:08 p.m. Parcel A is not a buildable lot and the remaining Kron parcel retains its existing Main Street frontage and full zoning compliance.
