Hanson Town Meeting approves marijuana delivery

Hanson Town Meeting voted 53-33 to allow recreational marijuana delivery, reversing years of local opposition. Moderator Sean Keely presided over the 32-article special warrant. Planning Board member Joe Weeks countered that "you shouldn't have to jump through hoops" to access legal products. Members also raised the veterans agent's salary cap to $75,000 from $63,000 and approved $67,000 and $18,000, respectively, for security cameras at Camp Kiwanee and the transfer station.
